Bead Embroidery

There are 2 session for this class on Sunday September 8 and 2 more on Friday September 27.

September 8

Session One runs from 10 AM - 1 PM.
Session Two runs from 2 PM - 5 PM.

September 27

Session One runs from 11 AM - 2 PM
Session Two runs from 3 PM - 6 PM

These are NOT drop in classes - they are actual classes. I will start promptly at the time specified.

Class Details

Techniques

Learn how to do a basic bead embroidery/peyote bezel around a cabochon. You will learn backstitching as well as couching, brick stitch edging, fringing and adding a bezel.

These are small pieces we will be working on so that you can learn all these techniques.

Cost

If you wish to bring your own supplies then the cost is $10 per hour with a minimum 3 hour charge.

The other option is to purchase all the needed supplies at the shop and then there is no per hour charge. All needed supplies must be bought - if you are only buying a few of the items then the $10 per hour charge applies.

small flat backed cabochon - ex 25mm round or 25x18mm oval

stiff felt or Lacey's Stiff stuff

Ultrasuede

11/0 Delica seed beads

11/0 seed beads

15/0 seed beads

3mm beads

beads for dangles - these can be whatever mixture you want

E6000 glue

Tools & such

fireline, One-G or similar beading thread
beading needles
bead mat
